Terms and conditions governing GXS CNY Bingo 2024 Campaign(“Promotion”)
By participating in the Promotion with GXS Bank Pte. Ltd. (“GXS” or “Bank”), you agree to the following terms and conditions (“Terms”):
1. Promotion Period:
The Promotion is available from 08 January 2024 to 29 February 2024 (both dates inclusive) or any such date(s) as may be determined and notified by the Bank in its sole discretion (“Promotion Period”).
2. Eligibility:
- The Promotion is available to you if:
i. you maintain a GXS Savings Account during the Promotion Period;
ii. your GXS Savings Account is active and in good standing with the Bank until the point(s) of fulfilment of all Reward(s) and Prize(s) (as defined below) for this Promotion,
(“Eligible Customer”).
- You will not be eligible to participate in this Promotion:
i. if you have closed your GXS Savings Account in the last three (3) months;
ii. for any new GXS SavingsAccount you successfully open, if you held and closed a GXS Savings Account previously. - The employees/staff of theBank or any of the Bank’s subsidiaries who are Eligible Customers are not eligible to participate in, or be allotted Chances for, the CNY Bingo Lucky Draw.
3. Promotion:
This Promotion comprises the following three (3) promotions:
- Promotion 1: CNY First Spend Promotion;
- Promotion 2: GXS Debit Card Cash Reward Boost Promotion; and
- Promotion 3: CNY Bingo Promotion comprising:
i. (A) CNY Bingo Ang Baos; and
ii. (B) CNY Bingo Lucky Draw.
- Under the CNY First Spend Promotion, Eligible Customers who, during the Promotion Period, successfully perform:
a. Your first Dash EligibleTransaction of at least S$5;
b. Your first GrabEligible Transaction of at least S$5;
c. Your first transaction on your GXS Debit Card of at least S$5, which otherwise satisfies the requirements of an “Eligible Transaction”; or
d. Your first PayNow transaction (including via Scan QR) of at least S$5 to a UEN payee using funds from the Main Account of your GXS Savings Account via the GXS app,
(each a “CNY First Spend”), shall receive a cash reward of S$5 (“CNY First Spend Reward”). Only Eligible Customers who, during the Promotion Period, perform a CNY First Spend are eligible to receive a CNY First Spend Reward. - Limited to one (1) CNY First Spend Reward per Eligible Customer who performs a CNY First Spend during the Promotion Period.
- CNY First Spend Rewards are limited to the first 5,000 Eligible Customers who perform a CNY First Spend, on a first-come-first served basis and are while stocks last.
- For the avoidance of doubt, Eligible Customers who have already performed your first Dash Eligible Transaction, Grab Eligible Transaction, transaction on your GXS Debit Card or UEN payment transaction (regardless of transaction value) prior to the Promotion Period are not eligible to receive a CNY First Spend Reward.
- The GXS Debit Card Cash Reward Boost Promotion is available to Eligible Customers who maintain a GXS Debit Card during the Promotion Period. For purposes of this Section C, “Promotion Period” shall mean such time on 08 January 2024 to such time on 29 February 2024 (both dates inclusive) as determined and notified by the Bank in its sole discretion.
- Under the GXS Debit Card Cash Reward Boost Promotion, you will receive a cash credit of up to S$8 credited directly into the Main Account of your corresponding GXS Savings Account (“Cash Reward Boost”) when you perform an Eligible Transaction on your GXS Debit Card, in place of a Cash Reward, for each Eligible Transaction during the Promotion Period. “Cash Reward” means a Cash Reward under the GXS Debit Card Rewards.
- Each Cash Reward Boost will be credited directly into the Main Account of your GXS Savings Account, subject to the GXS Savings Account’s maximum balance amount ofS$75,000. If, at the time of the draw for the Cash Reward Boost, the maximum balance amount in your GXS Savings Account has been reached for any reason, or the crediting of a Cash Reward Boost will cause such maximum balance amount to be reached, you will not be allowed to receive the Cash Reward Boost (in full or in part), and any Cash Reward Boost that you would otherwise have received will be deemed to be forfeited by you in full.
- For the avoidance of doubt, during the Promotion Period, the Bank will only award Cash Reward Boost(s) and the Bank will not award any Cash Reward(s). In the event you are not allowed to receive the Cash Reward Boost (in full or in part), you will also not receive any Cash Reward (as defined under the GXS Debit Card Rewards) in full or in part.
- Save that a Cash Reward Boost shall be awarded in place of a Cash Reward during the Promotion Period (i.e. that all references to “Cash Reward” shall be substituted with “Cash Reward Boost”, and all terms which would otherwise apply to a Cash Reward shall apply to a Cash Reward Boost), all other terms governing GXS Debit Card Rewards shall remain unchanged.
- If the Bank at any time determines at its sole and absolute discretion that any of the requirements of the Promotion were not met or complied with, or an Eligible Transaction is reversed or refunded, the Bank reserves the right to recover any or all Cash Reward Boost (or its equivalent value) by deduction from your GXS Savings Account or any account you maintain with us.
- Cash Rewards under the GXS Debit Card Rewards shall be awarded on 08 January 2024 and 29 February 2024 during timings not falling within the Promotion Period.
- The CNY Bingo Promotion comprises the (A) CNY Bingo Ang Baos and (B) CNY Bingo Lucky Draw.
- The CNY Bingo Promotion (i.e. both the CNY Bingo Ang Baos and CNY Bingo Lucky Draw) is based on the following bingo card comprising nine (9) boxes, namely Boxes A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H and I (“Card”).
- The following shall apply in respect of the following Boxes on the Card:
a. Box B:
Throughout the period from 29 January 2024 to 29 February 2024 (both dates inclusive), your GXS Savings Account must be linked to PayNow with your mobile number or NRIC or both. If, at any point during the required period, your GXS Savings Account is not linked to PayNow with either your mobile number or NRIC, you will not fulfil the requirements of Box B.
b. Box C:
Throughout the period from 29 January 2024 to 29 February 2024 (both dates inclusive), you must remain subscribed to both notifications and emails on GXS Offers & Promos via the GXS app. If, at any point during the required period, you unsubscribe from either notifications or emails or both, you will not fulfil the requirements of Box C.
c. Box D:
Each payment shall be a transfer via PayNow to a UEN payee, from your GXS Savings Account, of equal to or more than S$10, but may exclude the following transactions to or for:
i. Bank, third-party mobile or payment wallets (including wallet top-ups);
ii. Securities, investment or brokerage platforms;
iii. Insurers;
iv. Cryptocurrency platforms;
v. Remittance services and/or platforms;
vi. Payment platforms
vii. Stored-value card top-ups;
viii. Gambling and betting service providers;
ix. Quasi-cash transaction;
x. AXS payments;
xi. Religious, political, charitable and social service organisations;
xii. Cancelled, voided, disputed, reversed transactions;
xiii. Any fees and charges imposed by the Bank or card association; and
xiv. Any other categories or transactions which the Bank may at our discretion exclude from time to time without prior notice or liability to any person.
Please note that the above is not an exhaustive list and is subject to changes from time to time without prior notice or liability to any person.
d. Box E:
To fulfil the requirements of Box E, you must:
i. deposit at least S$888 in fresh funds into your GXS Savings Account by 29 January 2024. Fresh funds refer to funds not transferred from any GXS Savings Account (i.e. not transferred from a Main Account or any Saving Pocket); AND
ii. throughout the period from 29 January 2024 to 29 February 2024 (both dates inclusive), maintain a total day end balance of at least S$888 in the Main Account of your GXS Savings Account for every day of the said period.
The S$888 fresh funds requirement for Box E is separate from the S$888 fresh funds requirement for Box F, i.e. to ensure that you fulfil the fresh funds requirements of both Box E and Box F, you must make fresh funds deposits totalling S$1,776, into your GXS Savings Account by 29 January 2024. If the total fresh funds deposited into your GXS Savings Account is less than S$1,776, then even if you have maintained the requisite S$888 total day end balances in your Main Account (for Box E) and in the ‘Ang Bao’ Saving Pocket (for Box F) throughout the period from 29 January 2024 to 29 February 2024, you will only fulfil the requirements of Box E and will not fulfil the requirements of Box F.
e. Box F:
To fulfil the requirements of Box F, you must:
i. deposit at least S$888 in fresh funds into your GXS Savings Account by 29 January 2024, subject to the maximum balance amount of your GXS Savings Account. Fresh funds refer to funds not transferred from any GXS Savings Account (i.e. not transferred from a MainAccount or any Saving Pocket); AND
ii. create a Saving Pocket named ‘Ang Bao’ and fund ‘Ang Bao’ with at least S$888. You must create a new Saving Pocket and name it ‘Ang Bao’ to fulfil this requirement; AND
iii. throughout the period from 29 January 2024 to 29 February 2024 (both dates inclusive), maintain a total day end balance of at least S$888 in the ‘Ang Bao’ Saving Pocket of your GXS Savings Account for every day of the said period.
The S$888 fresh funds requirement for Box F is separate from the S$888 fresh funds requirement for Box E, i.e. to ensure that you fulfil the fresh funds requirements of both Box E and Box F, you must make fresh funds deposits, totalling S$1,776, into your GXS Savings Account by 29 January 2024. If the total fresh funds deposited into your GXS Savings Account is less than $1,776, then even if you have maintained the requisite S$888 total day end balances in your Main Account (for Box E) and in the ‘Ang Bao’ Saving Pocket (for Box F) throughout the period from 29 January 2024 to 29 February 2024, you will only fulfil the requirements of Box E and will not fulfil the requirements of Box F.
f. Box H:
Throughout the period from 29 January 2024 to 29 February 2024 (both dates inclusive), you must continue to provide Third Party Data Sharing Consent with both Grab and Singtel via the GXS app. If, at any point during the required period, you revoke consent for either Grab or Singtel or both, you will not fulfil the requirements of Box H. For the avoidance of doubt, notwithstanding that you provide consent for purposes of Box H, your data will only be shared with Grab or Singtel if you are a customer of Grab or Singtel respectively. If you are not a customer of Grab during the required period, your data will not be shared with Grab. If you are not a customer of Singtel during the required period, your data will not be shared with Singtel.
g. Box I:
The PayNow transfers must be made to five (5) unique PayNow accounts linked to a mobile number or NRIC/FIN number, from your GXS Savings Account. Transfers made via PayNow to UEN payees will not fulfil the requirements of Box I. - Amounts charged or paid in multiple transactions cannot and will not be combined to fulfil the requirements of Boxes A, D or G on the Card. You must not split transactions to fulfil the requirements of Boxes A, D or G on the Card.
Promotion 3(A) - CNY Bingo Ang Baos
- For CNY Bingo Ang Baos, Eligible Customers who fulfil the requirements of CNY Bingo Ang Baos shall be entitled to receive an $88 Ang Bao or up to three (3) $12 Ang Baos (each as defined below and collectively “Ang Baos”) (“Successful Customers”).
- The first 100 Eligible Customers to successfully complete all 9 Boxes on the Card during the Promotion Period will receive one (1) cash reward of S$88 (“$88 Ang Bao”).
- Eligible Customers who do not receive an $88 Ang Bao but successfully complete the Boxes on a straight line (a Row, Column or Diagonal as described below) on the Card during the Promotion Period will receive a cash reward of S$12 per straight line (“$12 Ang Bao”):
a. Column ADG comprising Boxes A, D and G
b. Column BEH comprising Boxes B, E and H
c. Column CFI comprising Boxes C, F and I
d. Row ABC comprising Boxes A, B and C
e. Row DEF comprising Boxes D, E and F
f. Row GHI comprising Boxes G, H and I
g. Diagonal AEI comprising Boxes A, E and I
h. Diagonal CEG comprising Boxes C, E and G - Each Successful Customer can only receive:
a. One (1) $88 Ang Bao, if you are one of the first 100 Eligible Customers to successfully complete all 9 Boxes on the Card. Successful Customers who receive an $88 Ang Bao shall not be eligible to receive any $12 Ang Baos; or
b. If you are not a Successful Customer who receives an $88 Ang Bao, one (1) $12 Ang Bao per straight line successfully completed, up to a maximum of three (3) $12 Ang Baos. No additional $12 Ang Baos will be awarded to a Successful Customer for subsequent or repeat completions of the same straight line.Each Successful Customer can only receive: - $88 Ang Baos and $12 Ang Baos are issued on a first-come-first served basis and are while stocks last. Limited to 100 $88 Ang Baos and 10,000 $12 Ang Baos throughout the Promotion Period.
- The Bank will donate S$12 to Children-At-Risk Empowerment Association (CARE Singapore) (UEN: T00SS0043E) per Diagonal successfully completed by an Eligible Customer, up to a maximum aggregate donation of S$18,000, after the Promotion Period. By completing a diagonal on the Card or completing the Card, you acknowledge and agree that the Bank shall be making such donation. The Bank does not represent and is not an agent of CARE Singapore, and shall not be responsible for any acts and/or omissions of CARE Singapore or its agents, nor any dissatisfaction you may have regarding the beneficiary or beneficiary’s use of the donation made pursuant to this Promotion.
- We reserve the right not to award Ang Baos at our discretion, for instances of reversals, cancelled, void, disputed transactions or abuse of the Promotion, for any other reason whatsoever, and without any compensation or liability to you.
Promotion 3(B) - CNY Bingo Lucky Draw
- The CNY Bingo Lucky Draw (“Draw”) will be conducted to award the following prizes:
a. One (1) prize of S$8,888;
b. Three (3) prizes of S$3,888 each; and
c. Eight (8) prizes of S$1,888 each,
(each a “Prize” and collectively, “Prizes”).
Chances for the Draw - Successful Customers (i.e. customers who have fulfilled the requirements to receive at least one (1) Ang Bao under this Promotion) will automatically be allotted chance(s) for the Draw (“Chance”) in the following manner:
a. Each completion of Column ADG – Five (5) Chances
b. Each completion of Column BEH or CFI – One (1) Chance
c. Each completion of Row ABC, DEF, or GHI – One (1) Chance
d. Each completion of Diagonal AEI or CEG – One (1) Chance
e. Each completion of the Card – Twelve (12) Chances - There is no limit to the number of Chances a Successful Customer can be allotted. For example, Successful Customers can complete Column ADG multiple times so as to be allotted five (5) additional Chances for each completion of Column ADG.
- All Chances allotted to a Successful Customer will be aggregated for purposes of the Draw.
- Chances accumulated are not transferable and may be cancelled upon the suspension, cancellation and/or termination of the relevant GXS Savings Account or GXS Debit Card, without the Bank incurring any liability to you or any other person. Chances cannot be transferred to or combined with Chances awarded to any other GXS customer. In the event that a GXS Savings Account is closed and a new GXS Savings Account is opened by you, Chances accumulated from the closed account will not be transferred to the new account.
- We reserve the right not to allot Chances at our discretion, for instances of reversals, cancelled, void, disputed transactions or abuse of the Promotion, for any other reason whatsoever, and without any compensation or liability to you.
- A Successful Customer’s name will be automatically submitted to the Draw pool when each Chance is awarded. If you do not wish to participate in the Draw (i.e. wish to opt out of the chance to win a Prize), please inform the Bank via the GXS app, Help Centre: GXS Chat (Recommended), GXS app, Help Centre: Contact Us form or calling the GXS Hotline: (+65) 3105 2055 on or before the last day of the Promotion Period, i.e. 29 February 2024.
Draw and Draw Date - The Draw will be conducted on 07 March 2024 (the “Draw Date”) between 10:00 am to 06:00 pm (Singapore time) at the GXS office located at 3 Media Close, #09-00, Singapore 138498 (or such other date, time or location as the Bank may determine at its sole and absolute discretion without prior notice). The Draw will be witnessed by an external auditor or other scrutineer appointed by the Bank at its sole and absolute discretion.
- During the Draw, a total of twelve (12) winners will be selected at random from the pool of Successful Customers (“Winners”) by the Bank using such methods and in such manner (which may be manual or computerised) as the Bank may determine in its sole discretion. A Prize will be allocated at random to each of the Winners, and Winners will not have a choice of which Prize they win.
- The Bank reserves the right to draw alternative or reserve winners to replace any Winner who is or may be subsequently found to be ineligible or disqualified from the Draw, or whose Prize is unclaimed for any reason.
Winners of the Draw - Each Winner is limited to win only one (1) Prize. Once a Successful Customer has been selected as a Winner for a Prize during the Draw, the Successful Customer cannot be selected to receive another Prize.
- If a Winner is subsequently discovered to not be a Successful Customer or not be eligible or qualified to receive or claim a Prize (which eligibility or qualification shall be determined at the Bank’s sole discretion) for any reason, the Bank reserves the right to forfeit the Prize, reclaim the Prize or charge you the full value of the Prize, without prior notice to you.
- If your GXS Savings Account is closed prior to the Draw or the crediting of a Prize for any reason, or if an eligible transaction is reversed or refunded (in full or in part), thePrize that has yet to be credited may be forfeited notwithstanding that it was accrued under these Terms and the Draw. Unused or unredeemed Prizes may be automatically cancelled and forfeited upon the closure of your GXS Savings Account for any reason. The unclaimed or unused Prizes shall not be transferable to any other person.
- Each Winner will be notified by email to your last known email address in the Bank’s records and/or through push notifications in the GXS app on any such date as the Bank may determine in its absolute discretion but in any case on or before 14 March 2024 which is seven (7) days after the Draw Date. Each Winner may also be contacted by telephone using your last known contact number in the Bank’s records. Only the Winners will be notified of the results of the Draw.
- The Prize shall be credited to each Winner in full, into each Winner’s GXS Savings Account within 14 business days after the Draw Date, subject to the maximum balance amount of your GXS Savings Account.
- To ensure that you receive your Prize on the date of crediting, you must ensure that the balance in your GXS Savings Account will not be greater than its maximum balance amount if the Prize is credited. If, at the time of crediting of the Prize, the maximum balance amount in your GXS Savings Account has been reached for any reason, or the crediting of your Prize will cause such maximum balance amount to be reached, you will not be able to receive the Prize (in full or in part). In such an event, the Bank shall make a second attempt to credit the Prize to your GXS Savings Account in the month of April 2024, subject to the maximum balance amount of your GXS Savings Account.
- You acknowledge and agree that, if the Bank is unable to credit your Prize in full to you by 30 April 2024, your Prize which you have not received by 30 April 2024 will be deemed to be forfeited by you in full.
- The Prize must be credited to you in full in a single transaction, is not exchangeable for cash, credit or any other items, and cannot be transferred or assigned.
- The details (full name and partially masked NRIC) of the Winners will also be announced on GXS’ website at www.gxs.com.sg/gxsbingo.
Personal Data Consent - Any Successful Customer who does not withdraw his or her participation in the Draw in accordance with these Terms, and in addition to any consent already provided to the Bank and any right of the Bank under applicable laws, consents to the Bank (and any other necessary third party) collecting, using and disclosing your information (including your personal data) for purposes relating to your participation in the Draw, including:
a. to notify you of the Draw results and for the announcement of the Winners on the GXS website/social media page/app, newspaper and/or such other channels as the Bank may determine in its sole discretion;
b. with respect to the claiming, redemption or collection of the Prize; and/or
c. to contact you for any publicity in connection with the Draw, including without limitation, for any request to take photographs and/or videos of you or for a quote or interview with respect to the Draw.
- For purposes of this Section F, “Rewards” shall mean CNY First Spend Reward(s), $12 Ang Bao(s), and $88 Ang Bao(s), but shall exclude Cash Reward Boost(s).
- To ensure that you receive each Reward on the prescribed date(s) of crediting (as stated below),you must ensure that the balance in your GXS Savings Account will not be greater than its maximum balance amount if the Reward is credited.
- Subject to the maximum balance amount of your GXS Savings Account, the CNY First Spend Reward (if applicable), and $88 Ang Bao or the $12 Ang Bao(s) (as the case may be) shall be credited to the Main Account of your GXS Savings Account within 14 business days after the end of the Promotion Period.
- If, at the abovementioned times of crediting, the maximum balance amount in your GXS Savings Account has been reached for any reason, or the crediting of a Reward will cause such maximum balance amount to be reached, you will not be able to receive the Reward (in full or in part). In such an event, the Bank shall make a second attempt to credit the Reward(s) to your GXS Savings Account in the month of April 2024, subject to the maximum balance amount of your GXS Savings Account.
- You acknowledge and agree that, if the Bank is unable to credit any or all Rewards to you on 30 April 2024, any Rewards which you have not received by 30 April 2024 will be deemed to be forfeited by you in full.
- Each Reward must be credited to you in full in a single transaction, is not exchangeable for cash, credit or any other items, and cannot be transferred or assigned.
- If your GXS Savings Account is closed prior to the crediting of any or all Rewards for any reason, or if any eligible transactions are reversed or refunded, any Reward(s) that has yet to be credited will be forfeited notwithstanding that it was accrued under the Promotion.
- All Rewards are not exchangeable for cash, credit or any other items, and cannot be transferred or assigned.
- The Bank reserves the right to replace, exchange, vary or substitute a Reward with an item(s) of equivalent value at its sole discretion without prior notice or reason and without liability to any persons.
- If the Bank at any time determines at its sole and absolute discretion that any of the requirements of the Promotion were not met or complied with, or if eligible transactions are reversed or refunded, the Bank reserves the right to recover any or all Rewards (or its equivalent value) by deduction from your GXS Savings Account or any account you maintain with us.
GXS Debit Card
- “Eligible Transaction” means an Eligible Transaction under the GXS Debit Card Rewards.
- “GXS Debit Card” means the GXS Debit Card, for which more information and terms and conditions can be found at https://www.gxs.com.sg/tnc.
- “GXS Debit Card Rewards” means the GXS Debit Card Rewards governed by Section A of the Rewards Terms, for which more information and terms and conditions can be found at https://www.gxs.com.sg/tnc.
GXS Savings Account
- "GXS Savings Account" means the GXS Savings Account, for which more information and terms and conditions can be found at https://www.gxs.com.sg/tnc.
- “Main Account” means the Main Account of your GXS Savings Account.
- “Saving Pocket” means a Saving Pocket within your GXS Savings Account.
Grab
- "Grab" means GPay Network (S) Pte. Ltd.
- "Grab Eligible Transaction" means a payment made for Grab Transport, Food, Mart and Express within the Grab app using your linked GXS Savings Account as a funding source, or any other transaction types that the Bank may specify from time to time to time.
Singtel
- “Singtel” means SingCash Pte Ltd.
- "Dash Eligible Transaction" means a payment made for selected transactions and/or merchants (as determined by Singtel) with the Dash app using funds from your linked GXS Savings Account, or any other transaction types that the Bank may specify from time to time to time.
- The Bank is not an agent of Grab or Singtel. The Bank holds a banking licence and is regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore. The Bank is a separate entity from the Grab Financial Group entities. The Bank is a separate entity from the Singtel Group entities. The Bank is the provider of the GXS Savings Account and the GXS Debit Card.
- Terms and conditions of Grab and Singtel, as determined by them from time to time, shall apply. The Bank’s terms and conditions are separate from the terms and conditions of Grab and Singtel. The Bank is not responsible for the terms and conditions, or any changes to the terms and conditions, of Grab or Singtel.
- This Promotion is not valid with other offers or promotions unless otherwise stated.
- The Bank may add to, amend, modify or vary any or all of these Terms at any time without notice or liability to any person.
- The Bank’s records and decisions on all matters relating to the Promotion (including but not limited to the eligibility of any person to participate in the Promotion and the awarding of any cashback, voucher or item) shall be final, conclusive and binding on all customers. We are not obliged to entertain any correspondence.
- In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and any brochure, marketing or promotional material relating to the Promotion, these Terms shall prevail.
- The Bank, employees and/or independent contractors shall not be liable for any loss, liability, expense, damage and/or injury whatsoever or howsoever incurred or sustained by any person by reason of, arising from or in connection with the Promotion including the redemption or use of any good, service, product or facility of any merchant (if applicable) or for any other reason.
- The Bank is not responsible for any failure or delay in the transmission of any transaction by any party, including acquiring merchants, merchant establishments or any telecommunication provider.
- These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with Singapore law, and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
- A third party who is not a party to these Terms shall have no rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 2001 of Singapore to enforce or enjoy the benefit of any provision of these Terms.
- These Terms shall apply in conjunction with the Deposit Account Terms, Ecosystem Terms - Grab, Ecosystem Terms - Singtel Dash, Card Account Terms and Rewards Terms, which shall apply.
- All information is accurate at the time of publication.
Deposit Insurance Scheme
Singapore dollar deposits of non-bank depositors are insured by the Singapore Deposit Insurance Corporation, for up to S$75,000 in aggregate per depositor per Scheme member by law.
