GXS Bank Student Perks Campaign Terms and Conditions
Terms and conditions governing Student Perks Campaign (“Campaign”)
By participating in the Campaign with GXS Bank Pte. Ltd. (“GXS”, “GXS Bank” or “Bank”), you agree to the following terms and conditions (“Terms”):
A. Campaign
The Campaign is available from 1 April 2025 to 30 November 2025 (both dates inclusive) or any such date(s) as may be determined and notified by the Bank in its sole discretion (“Campaign Period”), unless otherwise stated herein.
a. The Campaign is available to you if you are a student at an eligible tertiary education institution in Singapore and/or have received an email in the inbox of your education institution email inbox with the official school domain (“School Email Address”) regarding this Campaign (“Eligible Student”).
b. You will not be eligible to participate in this Campaign:
- if you have closed your GXS Savings Account in the last three (3) months;
- for any new GXS Savings Account you successfully open, if you held and closed a GXS Savings Account previously;
- for any new GXS FlexiCard you successfully open, if you held and closed a GXS FlexiCard previously,
even if you did not use your School Email Address for such GXS Savings Account or GXS FlexiCard.
a. Under this Campaign, each Eligible Student who successfully signs up for GXS Savings Account with your School Email Address during the Campaign Period (“Student Customer”) and fulfil the respective requirements of this Campaign shall be entitled to receive Bonus Interest for Students, Student Cashback, Singtel Perks and/or Grab Perks and/or CGSI Perks for Students (each a “Student Perk” and as defined below and, collectively, “Student Perks”).
b. “GXS Savings Account” means the GXS Savings Account, for which more information and terms and conditions can be found here.
c. “GXS FlexiCard” means the GXS FlexiCard, for which more information and terms and conditions can be found here. “GXS FlexiCard Rewards” means the GXS FlexiCard Rewards governed by Section B of the Rewards Terms, for which more information and terms and conditions can be found here.
d. To receive each Student Perk, a Student Customer must ensure that:some text
- your email address on record with the Bank (including for your GXS Savings Account) is your School Email Address throughout the Campaign Period; and
- your GXS Savings Account is active and in good standing with the Bank until the point(s) of fulfilment of the respective Student Perk(s) for this Campaign.
B. Student Perk: Bonus Interest for Students
- A Student Customer shall be entitled to receive Bonus Interest of 0.4% p.a. on the first S$5,000 of your balances in your GXS Savings Account’s Main Account,Saving Pocket(s) and Boost Pocket(s) during the Bonus Interest Period (“Bonus Interest for Students”).
- “Bonus Interest” means the bonus interest of 0.4% p.a. awarded on the first S$5,000 maintained in the Main Account, all Saving Pockets and all Boost Pockets of your GXS Savings Account, for each month of the Bonus Interest Period.
- “Bonus Interest Period” means the period of six (6) consecutive calendar months which commences the calendar month after a Student Customer’s GXS Savings Account is successfully created. For example and illustration purposes only: If you successfully open your GXS Savings Account on any day in April 2025, the Bonus Interest Period will commence on 1 May 2025 and end on 1 October 2025 (both dates inclusive).
- Bonus Interest for Students is issued on a first-come-first served basis and is while stocks last.
- You are entitled to receive one (1) Bonus Interest for Students for each calendar month of your Bonus Interest Period. Bonus Interest for Students will be credited to the Main Account of your GXS Savings Account on a calendar month basis, within 14 business days after each calendar month of your Bonus Interest Period.
- You are to ensure that your School Email Address is the email address in the Bank’s records for at least two (2) months after the successful opening of your GXS Savings Account, to ensure that you will receive the Bonus Interest for Students during the Bonus Interest Period. In the event you do not do so and the Bank is unable to verify that you are a Student Customer with a School Email Address, your Bonus Interest for Students will be deemed to be forfeited by you in full.
- Your GXS Savings Account must be active and in good standing with the Bank until each point(s) of fulfilment. If your GXS Savings Account is closed prior to the crediting of any Bonus Interest for Students for any reason, the Bonus Interest for Students that has yet to be credited will be forfeited notwithstanding that it was accrued under the Campaign.
- Bonus Interest for Students is not exchangeable for cash, credit or any other items, and cannot be transferred or assigned.
- The Bank reserves the right to replace, exchange, vary or substitute the Bonus Interest for Students with an item(s) of equivalent value at its sole discretion without prior notice or reason and without liability to any persons.
- If the Bank at any time determines at its sole and absolute discretion that any of the requirements of the Campaign were not met or complied with, the Bank reserves the right to recover any or all Bonus Interest for Students (or its equivalent value) by deduction from your GXS Savings Account or any account you maintain with us.
C. Student Perk: Cashback for Students
1. A Student Customer shall be entitled to receive S$30 cashback (“Student Cashback”) if you:some text
- successfully create your virtual GXS FlexiCard from 1 April 2025 to 30 April 2025 (both dates inclusive) (“Cashback Campaign Period”); and
- successfully fulfil a minimum aggregate spend of S$30 on all Qualifying Transactions on your virtual and/or physical GXS FlexiCard posted to your account by 31 May 2025.
2. “Qualifying Transaction” means an Eligible Transaction on your GXS FlexiCard under the GXS FlexiCard Rewards, save that no minimum spend per transaction is required for purposes of a Qualifying Transaction on your GXS FlexiCard.
3. Student Cashback is issued on a first-come-first served basis and is while stocks last.
4. You are entitled to receive a maximum of one (1) Student Cashback. Student Cashback shall be credited into your GXS FlexiCard account on or before 30 June 2025.
5. Your GXS FlexiCard account must be active and in good standing with the Bank until each point(s) of fulfilment. If your GXS FlexiCard account is closed prior to the crediting of the Student Cashback for any reason, the Student Cashback that has yet to be credited will be forfeited notwithstanding that it was accrued under the Campaign.
6. Student Cashback is not exchangeable for cash, credit or any other items, and cannot be transferred or assigned.
7. The Bank reserves the right to replace, exchange, vary or substitute the Student Cashback with an item(s) of equivalent value at its sole discretion without prior notice or reason and without liability to any persons.
8. If the Bank at any time determines at its sole and absolute discretion that any of the requirements of the Campaign were not met or complied with, the Bank reserves the right to recover any or all Student Cashback (or its equivalent value) by deduction from your GXS FlexiCard account or any account you maintain with us.
D. Student Perk: Singtel Perks for Students
1. Upon successfully signing up for a GXS Savings Account and/or GXS FlexiCard with your School Email Address, each Student Customer will receive one or more Singtel perks based on the prevailing offer available from Singtel (each a “Singtel Perk for Students” and, collectively, “Singtel Perks for Students”).
2. Singtel Perks for Students will be notified to you by the Bank to your last known School Email Address in the Bank’s records and shall be in the form of a Singtel promo code(s), within three (3) business days of your successful sign-up for a GXS Savings Account and/or GXS FlexiCard with your School Email Address.
3. Notwithstanding that you may fulfil the criteria for Singtel Perks for Students by successfully signing up for both the GXS Savings Account and GXS FlexiCard, you will be able to enjoy each Singtel Perk for Students only once and will not be able to have multiple redemptions of each Singtel Perk for Students.
4. Singtel Perks for Students are issued on a first-come-first served basis and is while stocks last. Limited redemptions only.
5. Singtel Perks for Students must be redeemed in accordance with the terms and conditions of Singtel, within the prescribed redemption period(s).
6. Any Singtel Perks for Students which is unredeemed after any prescribed redemption period shall be forfeited. If your Singtel Perks for Students have been forfeited, you shall not be entitled to any payment of compensation or replacement. Strictly no extension of such prescribed redemption period will be allowed. The redemption and use of the Singtel Perks for Students is subject to such other terms and conditions as may be imposed by Singtel. By using the Singtel Perks for Students, you agree to the terms and conditions of Singtel.
7. Terms and conditions of Singtel, as determined by them from time to time, shall apply. Singtel reserves the right to amend, change or withdraw any terms and conditions without prior notice.
8. You shall accept the Singtel Perks for Students “as is”. The Bank is not an agent of Singtel or any merchants. The Bank is not the supplier of the Singtel Perks for Students, good(s) and service(s) and makes no representation or warranty as to the quality, merchantability and/or fitness of purpose of the Singtel Perks for Students, good(s) and service(s) provided by any merchant or service provider.
9. The Bank assumes no liability or responsibility for the acts or defaults of the merchants or for any non-delivery, non-performance or defects in the Singtel Perks for Students, good(s) and/or service(s). Any disputes over the Singtel Perks for Students, product quality and/or services by a merchant should be resolved directly with Singtel.
10. Singtel Perks for Students are not exchangeable for cash, credit or any other items, and cannot be transferred or assigned.
11. The Bank reserves the right to replace, exchange, vary or substitute the Singtel Perks for Students with an item(s) of equivalent value at its sole discretion without prior notice or reason and without liability to any persons.
E. Student Perk: GrabUnlimited for Students
1. A Student Customer shall be entitled to receive from GrabCar Pte Ltd (“GCPL”): some text
- free GrabUnlimited for Students (usual price: S$2.99/month) for two (2) continuous months; and
- thereafter, GrabUnlimited for Students for S$2.99/month until the Student Customer’s graduation from the eligible tertiary education institution in Singapore,
upon completion of Grab’s Form for Students (“GUfS Form”), with true and accurate information and submission of the GUfS Form to Grab, during the Campaign Period.
2. Upon successfully signing up for a GXS Savings Account and/or GXS FlexiCard with your School Email Address, your perks relating to GrabUnlimited for Students will be notified to you by the Bank to your last known School Email Address in the Bank’s records and shall be in the manner determined by the Bank and/or Grab from time to time, within three (3) business days of your successful sign-up for a GXS Savings Account and/or GXS FlexiCard with your School Email Address.
3. Notwithstanding that you may fulfil the criteria for GrabUnlimited for Students by successfully signing up for both the GXS Savings Account and GXS FlexiCard, you will be able to enjoy GrabUnlimited for Students as described under these Terms only once and will not be able to have multiple redemptions of GrabUnlimited for Students.
4. By submitting the GUfS Form to Grab, each Student Customer consents to and agrees to be bound by the applicable Grab terms and conditions applicable to the submission of such GUfS Form.
5. “GrabUnlimited for Students” means the GrabUnlimited for students subscription plan by Grab, for students of eligible education institutions in Singapore as determined by Grab, subject to the applicable terms and conditions of Grab.
6. GrabUnlimited for Students is issued on a first-come-first served basis and is while stocks last. Limited redemptions only.
7. GrabUnlimited for Students will be fulfilled by Grab directly, subject to the applicable terms and conditions of Grab and timelines of Grab, after a Student Customer submits the GUfS Form to Grab. Student Customers must continue to maintain an applicable Grab account in order to maintain the GrabUnlimited for Students subscription.
8. GrabUnlimited for Students is subject to the terms and conditions of Grab, as determined by them from time to time, and by using the GrabUnlimited for Students, each Student Customer agrees to the terms and conditions of Grab. Grab reserves the right to amend, change or withdraw any terms and conditions without prior notice.
9. Student Customers shall accept the GrabUnlimited for Students “as is”. The Bank is not an agent of Grab or any merchants. The Bank is not the supplier of GrabUnlimited for Students, voucher(s), good(s) and service(s) and makes no representation or warranty as to the quality, merchantability and/or fitness of purpose of GrabUnlimited for Students, voucher(s), good(s) and service(s) provided by any merchant or service provider.
10. The Bank assumes no liability or responsibility for the acts or defaults of the merchants or for any non-delivery, non-performance or defects in the GrabUnlimited for Students, voucher(s), good(s) and/or service(s). Any issues or disputes relating to GrabUnlimited for Students (including the subscription plan and subscription price), product quality and/or services by a merchant should be resolved directly with Grab, or as provided in Grab’s terms and conditions.
11. If the Bank at any time determines at its sole and absolute discretion that any of the requirements of the Campaign were not met or complied with, the Bank reserves the right to recover the equivalent value of the GrabUnlimited for Students awarded by deduction from Student Customer’s GXS Savings Account or any account the Student Customer maintains with us.
12. GrabUnlimited for Students is not exchangeable for cash, credit or any other items, and cannot be transferred or assigned.
13. The Bank reserves the right to replace, exchange, vary or substitute GrabUnlimited for Students (or any part(s) thereof) with an item(s) of equivalent value at its sole discretion without prior notice or reason and without liability to any persons.
F. Student Perk: CGSI Perks for Students
1. Upon successfully signing up for a GXS Savings Account and/or GXS FlexiCard with your School Email Address, each Student Customer will receive one or more CGSI perks based on the prevailing offer available from CGS International Securities Singapore Pte. Ltd. (“CGSI”) (each a “CGSI Perk for Students” and, collectively, “CGSI Perks for Students”).
2. CGSI Perks for Students will be notified to you by the Bank to your last known School Email Address in the Bank’s records and shall be in the form of a CGSI promo code(s), within three (3) business days of your successful sign-up for a GXS Savings Account and/or GXS FlexiCard with your School Email Address.
3. Notwithstanding that you may fulfil the criteria for CGSI Perks for Students by successfully signing up for both the GXS Savings Account and GXS FlexiCard, you will be able to enjoy each CSGI Perk for Students only once and will not be able to have multiple redemptions of each CSGI Perk for Students.
4. CSGI Perks for Students are issued on a first-come-first served basis and is while stocks last. Limited redemptions only.
5. CGSI Perks for Students must be redeemed in accordance with the terms and conditions of CGSI, within the prescribed redemption period(s).
6. Any CGSI Perks for Students which is unredeemed after any prescribed redemption period shall be forfeited. If your CGSI Perks for Students have been forfeited, you shall not be entitled to any payment of compensation or replacement. 12. You are responsible for your own investment decisions and you undertake all investments and investment transactions at your sole risk. The Bank does not offer investment advice of any nature, and any information which we provide is not offered as investment advice or recommendations. Any such information which we provide is intended for general circulation and does not take into account the specific investment objectives, financial situation or particular needs of any particular person. You shall place no reliance on us as giving you any advice or making any recommendations. You should seek your own independent financial, professional or other advice if necessary.
G. Additional Terms for Grab, Singtel and CGSI
1. The Bank is not an agent of Grab, Singtel or CGSI. The Bank holds a banking licence and is regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore. The Bank is a separate entity from the Grab Financial Group entities. The Bank is a separate entity from the Singtel Group entities. The Bank is a separate entity from the CGSI Group entitiesThe Bank is the provider of the GXS Savings Account and GXS FlexiCard.
2. erms and conditions of Grab, Singtel and CGSI, as determined by them from time to time, shall apply. The Bank’s terms and conditions are separate from the terms and conditions of Grab, Singtel and CGSI. The Bank is not responsible for the terms and conditions, or any changes to the terms and conditions, of Grab, Singtel or CGSI.
H. General
1. This Campaign is not valid with other offers or campaigns unless otherwise stated.
2. The Bank may add to, amend, modify or vary any or all of these Terms at any time without notice or liability to any person.
3. The Bank’s records and decisions on all matters relating to the Campaign (including but not limited to the eligibility of any person to participate in the Campaign and the awarding of any cashback, voucher or item) shall be final, conclusive and binding on all customers. We are not obliged to entertain any correspondence.
4. In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and any brochure, marketing or promotional material relating to the Campaign, these Terms shall prevail.
5. The Bank, employees and/or independent contractors shall not be liable for any loss, liability, expense, damage and/or injury whatsoever or howsoever incurred or sustained by any person by reason of, arising from or in connection with the Campaign including the redemption or use of any good, service, product or facility of any merchant (if applicable) or for any other reason.
6. The Bank is not responsible for any failure or delay in the transmission of any transaction by any party, including acquiring merchants, merchant establishments or any telecommunication provider.
7. These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with Singapore law, and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
8. A third party who is not a party to these Terms shall have no rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 2001 of Singapore to enforce or enjoy the benefit of any provision of these Terms.
9. These Terms shall apply in conjunction with the Deposit Account Terms, Card Account Terms, Rewards Terms and Ecosystem Terms - Grab, which shall apply.

Deposit Insurance Scheme
Singapore dollar deposits of non-bank depositors are insured by the Singapore Deposit Insurance Corporation, for up to S$100,000 in aggregate per depositor per Scheme member by law. Foreign currency deposits, dual currency investments, structured deposits and other investment products are not insured.
