GXS Debit Card 2% GrabRewards points campaign

Which overseas Grab spends are eligible for the 2% back in GrabRewards points?

Grab spends which are considered eligible spends are Grab overseas services for Grab rides, GrabFood, GrabMart orders and GrabExpress Instant Delivery bookings paid using the GXS Debit Card in the Grab app.

Which are the participating overseas Grab locations?

All overseas Grab locations (i.e., Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam) are participating Grab locations.

How do you derive the 2% back in GrabRewards points?

GrabRewards points issued are based on the destination currency charges on Grab and converted into Singapore Dollars based on the following exchange rates. The following exchange rates are fixed and will be used throughout this campaign period to award GrabRewards points.

Example of how it works:

When John spends MYR 20 on a Grab ride in Malaysia with his GXS Debit Card, here’s how his rewards are calculated:

  • Exchange rate: SGD to MYR exchange rate is fixed at 3.3294
  • Currency Conversion: MYR 20 ÷ 3.3294 = SGD 6.01
  • Reward Rate: 2% of SGD 6.01 is equivalent to 60 Points (≈ SGD 0.12); as every 500 GrabRewards points you earn can be used to offset S$1 of your purchases

The exchange rates above only apply for awarding GrabRewards points under this Campaign. Mastercard exchange rates will apply for GXS Debit Card transactions.

When will I receive my GrabRewards points?

GrabRewards points awarded will be credited by Grab to the respective Grab account up to approximately two (02) working days from the date customers meet the Qualifying Transaction criteria. Notwithstanding this, the GrabRewards points awarded may be revoked or claw-backed if there is a cancellation or refund of such Qualifying Spend transaction. Grab’s terms and conditions apply.

GXS FlexiCard 5% cashback overseas spend campaign

Who can participate in the campaign?

All customers who hold a GXS FlexiCard account can participate in this campaign. The cashback offer is valid with all other campaigns unless otherwise stated. For example, if you are participating in the Q4 Brand Campaign - Spend Campaign (S$20 cashback on S$200 spend for all new customers), you will be able to stack this 5% overseas cashback on top of it.

What counts as an eligible overseas transaction?

Overseas transactions on your GXS FlexiCard that are eligible for the 5% cashback must be an Eligible Transaction on your GXS FlexiCard under the GXS FlexiCard Rewards terms, where the usual cashback exclusions apply. The only difference is that no minimum spend per transaction is required under this campaign. In addition to this, the transaction must be:

  1. made on your physical GXS FlexiCard;
  2. made overseas and is in a foreign currency;
  3. not a Dynamic Currency Conversion transaction that is settled in Singapore Dollars; and
  4. posted and settled within the same calendar month during the Campaign Period. For example, transactions which are posted in December but only settled in January will only be eligible for Cashback for January.

How much cashback can I earn under this campaign?

You can receive up to S$25 cashback per calendar month (Dec and Jan), for a total of S$50 throughout the campaign period.

Where will my cashback reward be credited to?

The cashback shall be credited to your GXS FlexiCard account on or before 28 February 2025.

The crediting of the cashback is subject to your applicable GXS FlexiCard account being active, in good standing and not having been cancelled, closed, blocked, terminated, suspended or under investigation at the point of fulfillment and crediting.
